Odisha Class 12 result 2018: Highlights
12.30pm: Those who could not clear the exam, can appear in instant exam on July 2.
11.50am: Last year, 70.17% of the students passed in the arts stream while 71.43% .had passed in the commerce stream.
11.34am: 3, 80,707 students including 2, 43,000 in arts, 47,000 in commerce and 95,096 in science had appeared for the examination which were held between March 6 and March 29.
11.19am: Puri district recorded a highest pass percentage of 79.87 while Nabarangpur district recorded the lowest pass percentage of 47.58 in arts.
11.06am: In Vocational education, 52.61% have passed
11.04am: In Class 12 Commerce, 74.91% have passed, Girls: 78.48%, Boys: 73.11%
11.02am: In Class 12 Arts, 68.79% of the students have passed, Girls: 75.39%, Boys: 60.88%
10.30am: School and mass education minister Badri Patra announced the results
A total of 3,80,707 students had appeared for the exams, which were held between March 6 and March 29.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, had earlier announced the Class 12 science result on May 19. Of the 95,096 students who had written the examination, 73, 211 students(77.98%) passed the examination.
Nayagarh district recorded the highest pass percentage of 92.23 %, while Gajapati was the lowest with 43.4%. While 19,561 students were placed in first class, 24,164 secured second division.
